Panel Shop Tech

Engenuity is looking for people to help grow and improve their UL-listed panel shop. Candidates must have a passion for accuracy and completeness when it comes to working on panels and programming units. Candidates will be responsible for following directions from blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete build and testing processes.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and testing of UL-listed panels

Skills:

  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams and build electronic components from a blueprint
  • Make recommendations for replacement or modification of electronic equipment and repair and/or replace electronic components
  • Maintain and calibrate instruments and equipment
  • Set up and perform circuit tests
  • Apply knowledge of current UL standards
  • Performs all duties in accordance with UL standards
  • Ensure the quality of the product
  • Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards
  • Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment)

Education:

  • High School diploma, any college education is a bonus

Product Data Specialist

Engenuity is looking for people to help grow and improve their product portfolio’s documentation and information. Candidates must have a passion for accuracy and completeness when it comes to collecting, storing, and keeping product documentation and information organized and current. Candidates will be responsible for collecting, organizing, cataloging/saving, uploading, and posting information and documentation pertaining to both new and existing products our sales and marketing teams promote and sell via engenuity.com. All information and documents will be stored in one of our enterprise systems, so a working knowledge and comfort using computers is a must. Keeping everything organized and easy for others to find must be demonstratable through experience or educational background.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and publish information and data to Engenuity’s website for all of Engenuity’s product portfolio

Marketing Specialist

Engenuity is looking for people to help grow and improve their appearance online and at trade shows. Candidates must understand the markets we currently work within and also expand our reach to new markets. Candidates will be responsible for creating and writing content for our web presence as well and press releases and other publications. Content creation and social media focus

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives

Skills:

  • Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral and ensure brand guidelines
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs

Controls Engineer

Engenuity is looking for people to help expand our controls engineering group offering remote or onsite support for customer projects. Candidates must have a working knowledge of BacNet, LonWorks, Niagara/Tridium, and other controls protocols in the smart building industries.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting issues with hardware and panels, beyond the realm of technical support

Skills:

  • Plan preventative maintenance
  • Work with other departments (e.g. sales and panel shop) to detect problems and implement solutions
  • Maintain quality and safety standards internally and in the field
  • Work with sales/customers on new panel build design
  • Complete drawings using AutoCAD, Visio, and Microsoft Office
  • Traveling to job sites for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair
  • Analyze design processes and implement improvements

Education:

  • Degree in Engineering or experience equivalent

Tech Support

Engenuity is looking for people to help grow our technical support department offering both pre and post-sales support to customers. Candidates should have a working knowledge of BacNet, LonWorks, Niagara/Tridium, and other controls protocols in the smart building industries.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all hardware and software-related concerns from clients or other employees
  • Respond to customer inquiries, analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose hardware issues
  • Connect remotely with customers to diagnose and resolve software issues
  • Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for hardware and software
  • Test and diagnose products returned on RMA and work with vendors when required for resolution
  • Complete detailed reports listing requests for technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved
  • Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage

Education:

  • Degree in technologies or experience equivalent
